I want the 80ft Nordia Van Dam Ketch 'Ophira V'. I wouldn't even mind the Vivid if it hasn't been too abused by the previous owner and is still capable of circumnavigation. The Perini Navi yachts have the most exquisite contemporary interiors, neither too bland and minimalistic nor too ornate and garish. I want a 70ft to 80ft go-anywhere in any-weather sailing yacht(ketch or schooner, not a sloop, and preferably with a centerboard) to bond with my children, with help from a crew of 2 or 3. I wouldn't want to be confined in anything smaller. To truly enjoy luxury, I would be open to a 90 to a 120ft sailing yacht(with a spacious, contemporary interior filled with natural light and an on deck bar and a jacuzzi plus a bar in the saloon) or a 180ft to 224ft motor yacht (with a hangar for a helicopter and a small submarine, like the Alucia/Odyssey). I don't care how large it is, provided it isn't a white elephant and can generate a charter revenue to at least pay for its upkeep. Even if the Alucia posts a loss, it couldn't render me insolvent, but the Andromeda would for sure. Likewise, an 80ft sailing yacht could never run me insolvent. A 120ft couldn't either, but I wonder if it would lose out on charters to far more elaborate multi-deck motor yacht s?

This Jongert is simply stunning. The superiority of bespoke built as opposed to production produced boats is clear to see.
Pity they no longer make sailing yachts.
