I'm biased but I love the Scilly Isles – particularly if seen through the eyes of someone justifiably sceptical! Many thanks.

Fowey, Newlyn, Penzance, the Scilly Isles are all beautiful from the point of view of someone living in a busier, more populated, industrial, colder, wetter, less sunny part of Great Britain. And they don't – or extremely rarely – get frosts! OK, I'm not sure what the attraction is.

Look! Everything goes well, just like I said to you! This black ball-thing used in anchor, I don't know why it is not used in Sweden, but you get some motivation practices if you forgot hoist it in Finland. Finnish coast guard or police may give you paper with very good instruction how to practice your memory, just pay some 80-120 euro and your memory get better. Instantly. I guess that it is same in UK too. I suppose that people recognize if boat is anchored or not in Sweden, so you don't need that kind of signs. Some people used to sail and use motor in same time (yes, I know, just Finns behave like this), in this case you should hoist black triangle. Other vessels know that according rules of avoiding collision etc. you are NOT sailing vessel but motor yacht.
