I was a Vet nurse for Horse’s around the time of the Hendra virus lost my vet Ben to the horrendous virus actually. Just thought I would mention it in the passing. So are you contracting yourself as a Vet as you travel around the world? Oh I understand , no worries and enjoy.

Greetings from considerably warmer looking Micronesia! Great to see you out sailing. You've worked so hard for it! To stop the leach flutter, your sails should have a leach cord in the leach tapes that is usually adjusted with either a clam cleat or velcro strip near the clew. Tighten and secure the leach cord just enough to stop the flutter, or the leach cloth will fatigue and shorten the life of the sails. Also, when motoring, consider using a deeply reefed, tightly trimmed mainsail as a steading sail. That may be less work and a steadier ride.
