for the transom drain point you could add a back wash valve…..quite common in most houses now, from 1 1/2 inches to 6 inches

That far south you would know enough to be self sufficient it’s not the Bahamas etc, looks like winter is on the way down there. Where will you guys do South American winter ? Would you head north soon or tough it out below 54 degrees south ? It won’t be pretty weather soon
