That midnight swim, looked absolutely lovely, and the water was so blue, fantastic! Was it warm or cold? It look like you really enjoyed it. On another note, I'd say the boobies are fairly tired if they're willing to come and stand on your boat for a couple of hours. Especially given how difficult it was to get them to move on, I would say that they're fairly fairly tired. So I myself would be reluctant to force them to move on okay, I understand that it may be a little messy at times, but it's easily cleaned with a bit of water and a brush. I enjoy the close wink with mother nature, while it lasts as it seems you did. All the best for the up coming miles, I'm sure, you'll make it with the fuel you have left. You could also look at bearing away from your nominal heading by just a few degrees, when the wind is a little on the nose. This will help to pick up a little boat speed as opposed to wanting to turn the engines on and stay on your heading. I understand this will create a slightly longer course and take a bit more time but it may save a lot in the long run and be more enjoyable with the sails up rather than the engines on.
