I like your channel however I'm like you I would not want to be dependent on the income from YouTube. I would only make videos for my pleasure and to keep family and friends up to date on my adventure. If I ever get to join you on the water I plan on having a big cash reserve to fund my adventure. So recognisable, living on board for 12 years. We even have our own barnacle, although his name is lucky. And we added a now toddler for some extra fun hindering the boat yoga. It gets worse since some of the core support people have passed. Nevertheless once you start to sail again… you know why you did it.

The "therapy industry" tries to convince us that therapy is normal, that everyone needs it, that it's not a problem. I don't accept that. They just want the money, just as the drugs companies push Fentanyl on us. I suspect that if one needs therapy one is going down the wrong path in life and needs to make a change.

Sounds like a constant nightmare. I think that if you are now requiring mental health care it's time to quit the cruising lifestyle. That is not normal! I feel sorry for you Sophie, I don't think your heart is in this anymore, but possibly you feel obliged to continue. You have been through a lot of horrible experiences during your covid captivity on board. You seem much happier on land and within bricks and mortar. Same with poor Barnacle. No doubt you can have a great career on dry land.
