Do you know if the original Captain is still with the boat as one of the five crew members you just mentioned. If it was abandoned, does it still have to have a Captain if it just sits in port? I know that to legally sail it a properly licesensed Captian who is certified for the tonnage is required. Just curious.

Antigua news reports that an appeal was filed, purportedly by the then owner, the day previous to the sale. They also sought an injunction to stop the sale but the matter has not yet been heard. I do not imagine that the buyer will be paying anything until that issue is sorted. It is stated that the money from the sale is going to be kept by Antigua.
