That entrance is nuts. I was slipped close enough to watch. When the king tide runs through there it’s probably 7-9 knots.

… yikes …. on a diesel you can not even just pull off the center plug on the distributor …. curious to hear what happened, how did you kill it, did you have a fuel shutoff there …. did not know what an Avocet was or even if it was something. Will be doing the google to find out more like if it is one of those cool birds that fly's underwater … also did a google on the fin whale of whom the killer whale is a predator …. thx for touring us around Monterey, beautiful city and surroundings …. thx for the share .. as always .. never stop dreaming, just dream bigger .. have fun be safe, save our oceans ….
