After twenty plus years as a singlehanded liveaboard cruiser, here is my best advice:-
Never get off of the boat, unless you are doing something for the boat.
Never sail on someone else's boat for any reason whatsoever.
Never take on crew for any reason whatsoever.
Never put off a repair.
Never tell anyone anything.
Never do anything for anyone who lives on land.
Never develop romantic feelings for anyone who lives on land.
Never live on land.
If you have to choose between buying food and buying a boat part - go hungry.
There is always one more thing to be done onboard.
lf you are thinking about doing something, then you should already be doing it.
If you stay out here long enough, you will learn who you really are ... and so will everyone else ... and then everything that matters will come to you and everyone that matters will come to you too.
If you fail to adhere to any of these, you will regret it !

That was breath taking, magically surreal…the reefs looked so beautiful and the water was crazy clear…thank you so much for taking the time to share that. I know how you feel when you see or experience something and although great it is better shared with someone, somehow completes the moment. Your living my dream stay safe.
