Underwater cinematography was spectacular! The overhead view of the “Tarpon-nado” was so kewl. The images were so colorful and the number of different fish that you came across was extraordinary. Capturing Kristen zooming about with the water sled was so full of grace, particularly amongst the Sea Turtles. I felt like as though I was viewing everything myself! Excellent, probably the best I have seen by you and many others!!

On another note, the dual cleats is much weaker than the original Sampson Post as the rearward cleat is the only one that is taking the load and the two bolts’ shear strength is all that is holding the chain (anchor, rode, and backing forces). Even with Grade-8 bolts, it will not hold. Your best bet is to get the Sampson Post welded or get a Capstan (electrical or mechanical) from a hurricane-damaged boat. In the long run it will save Matt’s back and hands, particularly in less than calm conditions. Even Kristen would be able to weigh anchor with a mechanical Capstan. Good luck!
