Too bad that almost all of the footage used in this video has absolutely no reference to anywhere on the Great Loop route. Unfortunately, your viewers are going to be misinformed as to what to expect along the way – unless the Great Loop you're referring to is in Asia, the Caribbean, South Pacific, or on a cruise ship. For anyone serious about researching the actual Great Loop, there's endless videos on my channel to help folks see what is realistically in store for them.

None of those boats were for me…. I am 100% using a C-Dory….
-Cheap on fuel.
-Marina fees are priced on length of boat. Save 40%. I'd probably stay in a marina every 3rd night…. Full shower, refuel, top off fresh water, full recharge of batteries, stock food, eat in a nice restaurant….
-Maneuvering is easy with 360° visibility.
-Light with a shallow draft of less than one foot which makes anchoring MUCH easier and safer.
-Outboard motor…. Single or twin option.
-Everybody can work on a 115 hp Yamaha, Mercury, Honda or Suzuki…. or twin 50 hp.
-Reasonable price. Can buy new under 100 grand. Used…. less than 50 grand.
-It can be rigged to meet any accommodations. Small refrigerator, a/c, generator, etc.
-Toileting…. The 25' has a full shower and pumpout head. The 22'??? Figure it out. Me? Probably a composting toilet and water bottle shower in my swim trunks.
-Never forget…. "Big boat has big problems. Little boat has little problems." You ain't going 5,000 miles on the water without problems. I want LITTLE problems.
