I want to get into computer sciences, and I'm looking for a personal project to practice 🙂
I'm really into boat life, and I want to live on a sailboat one day.
So my idea is to make an application (100% free) that would allow sailboats to share their position in real time, see nearby boats and have a way to contact them, organize events for sailboats (eg barbecue, sports tournament on the beach etc. …)

Finally, it would be a mix between meetup, an ais app, and a sailing forum ahah

What do you think ? And what about you followers ? 🙂 How do you track the position of the boats you meet?
