Thanks Norm, Another enjoyable episode. Just spent a few days at Port Macquarie and thought of you every time we were in sight of the river entrance. The bar was quite well behaved whilst we were there.

The river mouth looks really wide, until you're trying to stay in the channel with a 2m swell and a following sea, then I'd imagine its like trying to thread a needle.
