Wow that’s the most complicated way to tie a bowline I have ever heard. What ever happened to the rabbit comes out of its hole, goes around the tree, and back into its hole.

This looks like the simplest method I've seen. There are hundreds of videos out there, each showing it being tied a little differently. It was driving me nuts. I just want to get proficient at one of them

This is my third “bowline” short. Yours does’t make clear which is the standing end. There’s something about learning knots that’s harder for senior brains.

I've been tying bowlines for years, but not like that!! Thanks very useful and I like the small clip of someone sailing and screening!!! Very funny 🙂 . Clever trick to engage a persons mind!!!
