Great to see RR 2 getting close to completion. Looking forward to seeing you on the water again after what seems an eternity. Just a couple of points from my own experience sailing around the world in Knot So Bad. Firstly, on hull one they seem to have a Vitrifrigo. You talked about a separate fridge and freezer, so hopefully you haven’t got the terrible Vitrifrigo. We have met a number of cruisers ho had given up on the dire Vitrifrigo and moved to the Isotherm CR200 (that fits in the same space) – we are awaiting the delivery of same to us. Continuing with the Vitrifrigo was likely to lead to divorce! Secondly, you talked about sliding doors. We have a sliding saloon door that nearly killed me in heavy seas when it unexpectedly slid and hit me on the head. You talked about magnetic catches – that will not be enough, have some form of physical catch fitted but beware when you remove the catch to close the door – I still have the lump on my head when our sliding door caught me unawares.
