You should make a belt guard that cover all those belt it is very dangerous when it is exposed like that.

On my boat I always put 2 clamps on all hose fittings. That way I don't have leaks from vibrating motor. Also, I never fit metal supports directly to metal tube etc, but make sure they're isolated with rubber/bicycle tube.
