My experience with moonless nights is that you need to turn of all lights, dim as much as you can even minimise the red lights and try to sit with lights in your back… then your eyes can adopt much better to the darkness and you’ll actually see, unless large squalls rains snow etc makes even that impossible. But otherwise that works best. Your instruments look very bright, likely they have a night /dark mode. ( that includes wind depth speed and navigation)
