Ah 5200 , the devils glue. Makes sense tha the tab is bit too large.

i watch this guy sailor Pauli u tube sheet to tiller steering self steering up wind, pretty good may be a trick or two that could help? always room for a new twist on a old trick. good luck

What varnish do you use? I have great luck with total boat lust. No sanding between hot coats, up to 5 in a day. Builds fast, resilient against abrasion and impact, and good uv resistance.

You can remove the mold off your dad’s house with a solution called Joomax spray once is the name spray it on few hours to a day and it’s gone for months

The art of block and tackle is going away. Still present in sailing, but gone in most other parts. Best way to move heavy loads.
