Hi imet you in Pack n Save Whangarei. I've done just that same trip. Battled the current getting into Uquarts Bay, I had fowled my prop with kelp, what a struggle... pinched a mooring as a storm was coming. ALMOST was smashed by a big French cat, I hailed him as he was dragging and penduluming in 40 to 50 knots... he just shrugged and went below, I yelled some more and unhitched from the mooring. His wife came out and screamed at him in French. French. He didn't look at me as he motored off. All good fun.
