In 2012 i went to VW dealership with 16k euro in my pocket. I wanted to buy full spec red polo. I said to seller: ok, but before i buy it, i want to drive it. She said ,…ok…come next wednesday than. Yeah sure…. The Renault megane, i bought instead had this amount of rust in two years.

I bought a 55 plate 9n 1.4 tdi diesel and after 10 years and no mot fails the odometer is showing 212,000 miles , the only major thing that went wrong was a steering rack in all that time so we have been blessed with a good one and will be sorry to see it go as the sills are showing its age with the dreaded tin worm .
