Way back in 1980 I was staying with a cousin and her husband Bob in Italy. Bob was a big sailor and played this song full blast on a drive in his car. I loved it instantly. And then he played Ride Like the Wind and the rest of the album. Bought it as soon as I got home and play it regularly. Priceless!! keith

Good demo, Chris & Co. The elements were already there. I didn't know that the band's debut was one of the first digital recordings. (I think fellow label mates, Fleetwood Mac's Tusk (released around the same time in 1979) holds that distinction, as well.) That further explains why the production of that 1979 album is so distinctive, clear, and full of depth (setting the template for the Adult Contemporary style), esp. the 21st Century Japanese remastered edition.
