What kind of brush? Are you cleaning your brushes or trashing them?
Not the typical bag of disposable that hold no material.

Would a mohair roller give a smoother finish thus less sanding(I'm allergic to sanding) providing you don't introduce bubbles…
Less mekp to give more flowout/working time, rolled slowish and have an orange peel to sand off but more even film thickness?
Trade sanding time for application time

What about tinting the final coat and sanding it all away?
No power sander at any step?

I regelcoated a 1979 Checkmate using a brush and roller. The OE gel coated was in really sad shape. I mixed the gel coat double checking all measurements but some places had a tastiness. So you are saying just go over with acetone? I know it gums up sandpaper very quick. Please advise and thank you
