I’m completely on board with recycling wood. I’ve seen so many videos that have wooden structures that have weathered time, but without care have fallen apart…there is such a great source of material still available…it is esthetically (character) impossible to recreate…rent a truck or trailer and go exploring, it is everywhere …

Great to see you able to get back on Steel Melody. The front cabin is looking great. I'm a huge fan of recycled lumber and love what you are doing with it. Definitely worth redoing the porthole frames, they look really good.
