Great fun, guys. I agree that the depthsounder would have probably been fine with just a quick clean up and a squirt of quality sealant, but whilst you were there....good call to have a proper look and prep the surfaces for a long lasting job. Check the sealant instructions, sometimes the correct method is to apply the gear, just snag up the fitting then let it set. Final tightening after the product has cured, makes sense when one thinks about it! Cheers, thanks for sharing!

I’m sure you had other reasons to get the boat of the trailer but maybe a 4 or 5 inch hole saw would have gained you access to that through hull fitting. Fun to watch your happy family grow!

I would seal up that hole. If you do keep it, recess it into the hull so it doesn't stick out if you drag the ground and rip it out and give you a really big leak.

Good job all the way round! The boat looks awesome setting there opened up. Personally however, I for one wouldn't want one of those trimoran type folding boats. Too much hastle every time setting up, taking down, setting the mast, removing the mast... etc, no thanks pal. But that's my humble opinion. Be safe always from the Philippines

Looking forward to seeing the barn progress and the trimaran out sailing. I hope you two got a gin pole that was the proper size to step that mast that is if you plan on stepping it without using a lift or crane.

You should get high density foam cube blocks… Two under the main hull and two under each ama at a height higher than required to put the trailer under the main hull.
