Not sure the valve referring to for $1.5k. Can get 3" high pressure poly irrigation valves for <$200. Could replace that whole system with poly for <$1k. Make the whole thing cylindrical tube for extra strength, more compact. No corrosion, less growth issues.

When my boat gets hauled out for bottom paint, they don’t sand it down. They do a thorough pressure wash and any necessary scrapping of hard growth if there is any beyond that, and apply the new paint. Why did you do all of the scrapping and sanding down to the gel coat?

!st time ive ever commented twice on your vids but i have to 🙂 Do it right once then never worry it taking the hull down was the right call those inside blisters still had water in them if you had gelled over them same problem would have come back on ya keep up the great work folks
