I think you should get the anchor with a hoop. Because are used to using it and have more confidence in the anchors setting capability.

Yep. That rolling is going to bring my cruising career to an early end. I guess I'm just a too-light sleeper in general. It's either too rolly, too hot, or if not those, it rains in the middle of the night. But, it's usually too hot and too rolly. I'm on a monohull and I don't even get the relief a cat will provide in gentle swell. The boat is always moving and keeping me awake. I basically didn't sleep all summer in the EC. The sleep deprivation is shredding my sanity. I'm ready to go back to land. 🙁
