So sorry Finn having those health issues post COVID and then racing.
Surely NZ rowing have a health protocol??
Must be so hard for you in Malaysia to see Finn going through this.

Blame mom!

Blaming mom in this situation is unavoidable:
1) chewing and talking is terrible manners that every mom should have put an end to in childhood.
2) mom is the editor here and never should have allowed chewing and eating ON CAMERA to be included in footage that’s going to broadcast.

There is no way around it, mom is to blame here.

It’s all for the best for Finn in the end! I love your families reactions and concern. Especially after a bout of Covid. Good on Finn in being strong enough to express his symptoms to you all. The pressure he is under and how he handles it states a lot about his abilities. So proud of him.

The boy is rundown from the illness…in addition to this, you can tell he is not in a good headspace at the moment. The type of training rowers do will not allow him to recover in the way needs to. Best to step back for now, he is young there will be other opportunities.
