Whilst in process of designing our new boat we are obviously following the latest fenders like you do, but the prices are like crazy….1,000 us for 1 large fender… times 6 or more…for a boat. light weight has its price….

Curious about your idea about how many KW your electric engine needs to be, in relation to what you would do in HP. do you agree with the formula that 100 kw is est similar to 350 HP?

If electric drives are so great why is there even a diesel motor in the boat… electric drives will deplete the batteries 10 times faster, lith batteries are not cheap… I have a very hard time believing people fall for this hype… Its your money, spent it the way you want…

I would love to hear the downsides of hybrid electric. They sound great, but obviously there must be compelling downsides. Is it cost? Complexity? Multiple points of failure?

I am not in a position to buy a new boat, but if I was I would look seriously at hybrid, but would want to know the nitty gritty on the downsides too.

Not a big fan of the sprayfoam, looks like tough when repair / maintenance is needed. Would have loved to see a combination of sound and vibration damping tape and aerogel panels for insulation. The vibration tape is great on metal surfaces and the aerogel panels are fireproof moisture resistant and amazing sound / heat insulators

At least you will know that everything inside your new boat will fit through the main door to your pilot house compared to boats built with the inside done before the deck is fitted. Makes it a lot easier to remove things and replace if necessary. Very practical. Thanks for the video.
