Good job. One question: I know you’ve spent a lot of money on the new boat and don’t expect you to be 100% unbiased but so far how does outremer compare to saona wrt comfort and sense of security (noise etc) ? Clearly speed is expected to be superior although you haven’t had much chance to test yet.

Thanks for explanation of the choice to motor in the narrow band inshore where the wind and waves were less. I can see where if you had tried to sail you would have been challenged with having to much sail in the stronger band and then not enough inshore. I’m sure it was frustrating for you too!
Glad you made it thru and thanks for answering question.
the NE wind off shore holds and you get some champagne sailing to the Canaries!
FYI this real time posting has been the dream for so long for, apart from races the last passage we could watch was the W-E by La Vagabond with Greta!

Another great video guys…really enjoyed watching your nightly updates. Please do not judge this passage on the weather you have witnessed this week…it can also be stunning!! La Linea is a great marina and its a shame you couldn't stay for longer. Intrigued that you didn't fill up in Gib where the fuel is at least 50c a litre cheaper? If you had stayed longer, I could have recommended the best steak restaurant in Europe, which is less than a mile from you… Have fun guys and stay safe.
