Aha…true passage makers now. The boat really flies. Poor Holly though, just as you had the chance to smile a knowing smile at Stephan’s over enthusiasm, he makes ‘lemonade’ by having way too much fun tiller steering…doh! Great to pick up things now and not mid Atlantic though?. Congrats on a really solid trip and producing currently the best Sailing YT Channel.

My watt and sea is also not producing anywhere near what the company states. I get approx 7-8 amps if you averaged it all out over a passage. A big let down !

WE are going to be YOU this time next year. Our boat delivers July… August. Sadly not the sexy Outremer, too long a wait. We will be sailing a Windelo 54. OMG!! Excited… scared… excited… Orcas, waves, water in the bilge, pins and rips. Lots to look forward to. But you guys seem to handle it all with ease. So many questions I want to ask, but I will spare you. We don't miss an episode, its our new ritual. Have a great night sleep, you deserve it.

I knew something was happening when I saw you go down from over 10knts to less that 5. I was checking your progress on my marine traffic app I'm glad you were able to get things going again and certainly is better now than when you are crossing the Atlantic.

Did I hear correctly that Stéphane could NOT pull the sock down on the gennaker by himself? If so, the Outremer 52 may NOT be a rwo-handed boat.

Maybe a little inquiry as to how a pin on a brand new boat can go awry. Not sure if I heard the whole story, but it would seem that a cotter pin (or something similar) that was securing the main pin was missing or broke and that allowed the main pin to work itself free.
