For intenal lighting I would also add a bypass wire and switch which can turn on lights even if the individual light switch is off.

You have too many colours in the cockpit, you should paint the ceiling of the cockpit white as well, it will provide more light in the area, make it feel more roomy and you will be able to see mold, creates consistency but also looks more modern. That red cable tubing does not look good. To many colours and no consistency – white ceiling with galvanised or copper tubing would look better:-(

Ben, the ceiling is the timbers that line the interior of the hull running for and aft. They allow vventilation to the hull. The overhead in what you called the ceiling and the floor you walk on in the interior is called the sole. Ceilings are well known for making everything and anything to disappear and if your lucky they will reappear at some future date in the bilges. But Yaba is definitely coming along well. You have had an amazing team of old school shipwrights at this yard to make the whole project happen.

I thought you were going to pull LED light strips into those red tubes. That would have been amazing as red night lights for when you are navigating at night.
