Cleaning sticky stuff! In Oz we can buy a product made from our Eucalyptus Trees called, Eucalyptus oil. I use it all the time to get the scum off. You may be able to get it in the US? Oh, and, it smells fantastic!

Ty, about refrigerators, I did some calculations a few years ago on the Dometic top models vs. standard household A+++ (best european energy class), and besides being approx 10 times the cost, the Dometic used almost 10 times the wattage. My calculations could have been faulty, but I checked them. It kind of makes sense, here a main selling point on household appliances is low energy consumption, and it’s a much much bigger market than RV/camper/boating. There’s major players competing therefore better compressors, better insulation, better management.

Even if that hurts me too to see that finger, you make me laugh with that "cleanup job".
And yes beer IS important but without the other fridge filled with meat to place on the grill, it is kind of useless.
