Professional display of a nice boat. Perfect.
600K Euro base is just nuts for a dayboat. I’m failing to understand who is continuing to buy new boats at the prices today. You could have a nice ‘16-18 Searay 540 for the price of this with options. I predict we see a massive implosion of builders as the economy softens:
What amazes me, considering how small the market is and how few they will sell, is the number of different manufacturers making these almost identical day-play boats, with none of them offering any clever "wow" innovations to distinguish themselves from the rest.
As ever Hugo, a very well executed review. Thank you. I agree with you on the ergonomics, and overall design. I wish my boat had a system to conceal the canvases. If you look again, the galley looks a bit like an AGA with that chrome rail. I thought the joystick could be better placed, it looks an afterthought there. Love the way Nimbus are going. Cheers Andrew
They must love Marex over at Nimbus 😂😂
The zipper tracks are so ugly. On a 600k boat i expect it to have it hidden or a smarter solution.
Always wanted stripper pole in my day boat.😂
That is a very nice yacht for a day/weekend, everything you need for a fun day on the water. Great tour Hugo thank you.
Nimbus have been doing things right for quite a long time. Their boats are really orientated to their home market area or the med. A boat like that would be sitting about in the British or Irish climate waiting for a warm day to drive about with all the screens down. I dont think you mentioned any form of cabin heater 😄. That said they are fine quality boats and always attractive. A question which has been going through my mind, not just related to Nimbus , but to all the boats using petrol outboards. The E10 'GREEN' petrol we have had foisted on us for our cars is presumably the same for marine applications; how well is it storing on boats.? It has quite a short potent life compared even to unleaded and it absorbs moisture. Ethanol 10%; 90% petrol I was reliably informed and its the ethanol which likes the moisture.
A gyro stabiliser on a day boat! Call me old fashioned………..
How many gadgets gidgets , widgets , and WORTHLESS accessories can they put on a small boat ? This is getting ridiculous, too much to go wrong !
The Cozy Cabin is a nice touch. Like the hideaway covers too. Very Marex of them. Lol.
