Sam, I have sailed these waters quite a bit, you need to carry more fuel on board(spot the obvious!)
I have seen more wildlife there than I have ever seen in my life!!
Greece is a challenge to sail, that’s why it’s so popular

I've been wondering if a security camera DVR setup would work for creating B-roll etc – an external audio recorder would be needed of course.

It may seem like an obvious question, but why go all the way to Turkey then immediately turn back all the way to Croatia? There will be a reason no doubt but it's not altogether clear.
