I find it hard to come to terms with the life style of those who into this life style.
Looking at this craft instantly makes you realize that some persons have the job of keeping this craft clean,and i bet their accomadation is nothing like those who sit back and take for granted that hard work.
It just makes you wonder greatly about the line between the haves and the have nots.For a start, i wonder what the bill was just for fuel for the aircraft, let alone the boat, i would hazard a guess and say about six months wages for the cleaners.
I dont think i could live that way, as i have found that the people who use these craft have little if any knowledge about those who serve and their lifestyle.
Many years ago now, i ran a fortyeight foot Excaliber class sail boat and clearly remember telling me he wanted a coffee, no please or thank you, just I.want, and there was no re education coming from his parents, and the more i see the less i can deal with that kind of atitude.
Sailing this boat was always better at night as that was my job, and was always the time where it was the most relaxing.
I have seen just how far that atitude gets, when in the middle east i was invited to a coctail afternoon at the embasidors place, both of these peolle were an acception to the rule and were very polite, however we were asked if we would stay after the others left, i later found out why.
What had transpired was the wife of the ambassidor had said to one of my crew that she would invite us to dine with them, but had given the cook the day off as soon as the cocktail party was over, and she COULD NOT COOK that guy replied that i did cook and if they wanted they could get me to do them a meal, i really did not mind as they had been reasonable people you could talk to without getting talked down to, we had a very good evening with them, but it always stuck with me that she admitted she could not even boil an egg!!!, Its then you get to realize just how wide that gap is and just how much people come to depend of others to do the work.
I think the thing that rattles me is how many of them like to dangle their lifestyle under your nose, its at time like that i become aware of being glad to be in the slot of being a provider, and just how much of real life these people miss.
