Cunoscute pentru lucrările lor luxoase din lemn de tec, aceste bărci taiwaneze au o istorie bogată în lumea navigației și sunt îndrăgite de mulți. Doar 18 au fost construite în Taiwan pentru Mikelson în San Diego și am avut norocul să găsim unul în curtea din spate. Ne-ai spus să rezistăm, să nu cumpărăm barca, pentru că era prea departe și putem face mai bine. Nu am ascultat și am făcut o ofertă de 30.000 de dolari, pe care banca a refuzat-o pentru că erau siguri că majoritatea sistemelor de pe barcă funcționează bine. Astăzi, punem barca în apă și o navigăm spre portul de agrement și verificăm multe dintre acele sisteme. Suntem Siren și căpitanul Hal. I’m not at the end of the video yet, but your broker needs to do a better job, letting the bank know he’s got a real buyer at 10k and it’s just the buyer they need! someone he’s going to fix this sucker up and that they need to cut their losses and let this one go cause they’re paying more and more money every month that goes by and if he can’t pull it off walk away the boat still be there in a year.

well im sorry but i talked to him and he said you and your wife look like a good snack, i said yup. now to ward him off toss in some white home made bread, you know the stuff you make in a bread maker that weighs as much as a tank, he will eat it and sink. then you can hoist up the sails and haul ass at a blistering speed of 4 knts. but i have also told himto makesure andnot use hotsauce lol
I'm glad Hal's instinct was to walk away. I ignored my instinct and let a surveyor sweet-talk me into buying a 52' – and discovered a myriad of problems that we're still trying to correct three years and another hundred grand later. (Never trust a surveyor whom the broker recommends!) So kudos to Hal and you for letting reason overcome emotion and looking for another, more manageable, project boat.

But I also freely admit, what I know about boats, registers on the "Negative Scale". I have been looking at a few boats, & have been relying on a few cruiser friends for simple answers. I was told that The boat needs to fit where you are going to be using her. I would be in the Pacific NW to Alaska / Aleutian Islands to Japan area. lol funny considering I don't even know how to start and drive a boat. But hey, "SQUIRREL".
