I think that the right boat won out this time … love it! Two points I'd like to bring up: 1. I totally agree about the number of pictures on some of the adverts – either it's the same picture from six angles, or the pictures follow no cohesive pattern through the boat and you don't know what you are looking at … sometimes it might as well be a drunk monkey taking the pictures!!! 2. What is it about people listing upgrades that are older than 5 years – That CAL 39 actually referenced 3 batteries from 1996 … in two days it will be 2024!!! That's even beyond the expected lifespan of LiFePo4 batteries which are new technology!!! Can we all agree to stop that nonsense?!? OK … rant over!!! Great episode!

Someone would have thrilling and easy escapes on any of these. They will be quick off the dock and easy to square away at the end of the day (maybe thirty minutes on either end). Ultimately, in my mind, the winner will be determined by the new captain–which boat goes out next season and is sailed and enjoyed, and which boat will lag in the yard with a block-and-tackle obsessive and an endless punch list.
