Great job with the Head maintenance! That would have been a good time to replace most of the sanitary hoses. They may look good but with age they become permeable and will leave an unfavorable lingering scent in the boat.

Parker, your precious nerdy nikpicky back yard engineering and curiosity about how things work is a treasure. Keep it up, those qualities got Teal that most wonderful Basik catamaran. I hope your partner treasures this character as much as the rest of us do. You need a portable workbench/worktop that you can clamp on a rail or something and stow behind a locker. I'm sure you can design something perfectly elegant. Thanks for sharing your potty adventures … keep eating all that fiber and flush, flush, flushing. The pump has to be primed. Those are vents. All plumbing anywhere in the world has vents. Has zero to do with "siphon".

Great video, it never ceases to amaze me at the short cuts some owners have taken that actually compromise safety. A job that should be done at least yearly. Hope 2024 treats you well.
