Me and my husband are non drinkers and we have been on Carnival and Royal Caribbean, never bother us any at all. We don't hang out where there a lot of alcohol being serve if so we just keep it moving.

I'm mostly a budget cruiser. My hope (perhaps a fool's hope) is that as more, bigger, and fancier ships launch, the prices and availability on ships that are 15-25 years old will drop or at least slow their inflation rate.

Hi Tony and Don. Royal Caribbean is doing the exact same thing as Celebrity. Several hundred dollars more than double to travel as a solo. I am giving up my status with RCI and switching to Princess. They have cruises now for solo travellers at 1.35% total cost. And they seem to have a good loyalty program. So long Royal Caribbean.
