Mads: the best anti-fouling I've used for my prop is "cold galvanizing" spray paint. I've tried propspeed and similar products, and every fall, my prop would be covered with barnacles. I saw the spray paint suggestion on line somewhere, and it worked like a charm. I put three or four coats on over the course of about 45 minutes, and the prop and shaft are free of barnacles for a full season. It takes more time to tape off the hull and anodes than it does to apply the paint. Available at any hardware store for less than $10 a can.

Sadolins PV67 for your varnished worktops – we use it on bar tops that take a pounding. The attention to detail is slightly mind blowing, but I've not had a lot of success with Propspeed, must try some of the other varieties…

Keep up with the good content :-) I would put the same product on both the sail drive and the prop, you have used more dollars in prop-paint than the prop itself is worth

Try OSMO countertop woodwax on the countertops, works fine on our liveaboard, whitstands the normal detergents used. Easy to resurface if scratchy every few years
