Very nice video. Ketch. Two masts. You seem to always sail on the front mast, never the rear one. That may be my perception, but it seems the biggest thing "in the way" between you and the rear mast is the bimini. Also, it may be a matter of experience. But, the wisest of sailors teach that you should not sail your boat above 80% (of what it was designed and built for, and probably your own seaworthiness too). I would think that a reef to the mainsail (reduces the levered force impact of wind) that reduces sail area can be compensated by the rear sail that is less tall. Yes, it will impact the "feel" of the boat because the wind force shifts a bit aft to between the two masts.
And, have you tried to use the rear sail as wind rudder when at anchor? If the waves at the anchor location are in line with the wind, that helps a lot.
No need to answer here, but would be a nice topic in a future video.

To protect your anchor swivel from failing due to side torque it is recommended to put six inches of chain between your swivel and the anchor using a shackle with a wired off pin. Cheers

What a great video. When I think back to you leaving the UK and relate that to now, the change is remarkable. your video skills and story telling has improved so much. The biggest change is in your confidence in passage planning, understanding the weather and just generally not being spooked by the environment that you find yourself in. I love the slow motion of the sea state, helps do justice to the waves that get so reduced in photos or videos. Brilliant job you two!
