Brian Kelly took over lsu with just 39 scholarship players. He went on to win 10 games while winning the west in his 1st season. He had the #1 offense in the country and a Heisman winner in 2nd year while winning 10 games again,with an uncharacteristically bad defense. Now starting his 3rd season, he has replaced his entire defensive staff with a staff of elite defensive coaches, while maintaining a dominant offensive outlook. So as a tiger fan, bama has no excuses because no coach faced the disadvantage BK faced!

Im very surprised so many Bama players are apparently leaving!! It's not about Coach Deboer i 5:35 ts about the money! I hope many of these players will reconsider!! I think they are making a huge mistake giving up a chance to play for a good coach who cares about his players and helps create a culture where football is truly enjoyable! It would not have made a difference even if Saban had made T-Rob DC. If T-Rob and the new Coach didn't hit it off; you'd still be in the same place. If T-Rob had taken the job the new coach offered( which he could have) it would have happened. Something didn't go right between the two. Otherwise why would take a co-DC job when you could have been DC. The issue is not NIL; these players leaving went there because Saban was there; that's exactly what Isaiah Bond say and pretty much what I'm hearing Caleb Downs is about. it was about the relationship' not the money.

I thought Saban should of retired in 2020 they should of named Sark the Head Coach in Waiting and said to everyone 2020 is Saban's last year and that year would of been even more special for it. Instead Saban waits til the last minute to tell anyone he is quitting he had a hiring meeting before he announced he was retiring for goddamn sakes. So one minute he was interviewing someone to be his DC the next minute he's announcing he is retiring. Think of all the guys who he recruited for a year plus finding out that no Instead of playing for the GOAT your going to be playing under a new system for a new Head Coach. Think of the regular team that's why some of these guys are hitting the road Saban didn't plan this "process" out too well.

But to me Saban has been losing his edge for 5 years at least 2018 was in my opinion when Saban started to slip he didn't go after the media as hard he didn't go after his players as hard. So I started seeing Sabsn losing his edge years ago. 2020 would been a great time for him to retire and I quarantee Sark would been our Head Coach now.
