I do support year round Pacific Standard Time. Surveys show that most people in Washington want to end the clock switches and year round PST does this and does not need Congress to change the law. People could decide whether more sleep, or more daylight after work is more important based on where work schedules are set. If year round PST in WA becomes law, Oregon would need to pass it for the Pacific Time Zone majority of Oregon to keep the Portland metro area on one time. Those who start work from 5 AM to 7 AM should be very supportive of year round PST.

We need permanent standard time in all 50 states.
It is asinine to think that changing the clocks makes the days longer. Just let the days wax and wane naturally, keeping the sun overhead as close to 12:00pm as possible.
In June, most places in the lower 48 will still have sunlight at 8pm in June on standard time. Sunrise in June is already obscenely early, and feels like it happens at 4:30am, and should be properly labeled as such.

I'd rather wake up hours after sunrise, than to be forced to rise in the dark.

I live in Los Altos, California and I still like the idea of having standard time in winter and daylight saving time in spring, summer, and fall. But if I were to choose between staying on permanent standard time or permanent daylight saving time, I would choose to stay on permanent standard time because our circadian rhythm is more aligned with standard time. I don't have to get ready to go to work in the dark. All the kids don't have to start school in the dark. On the longest day of the year in Los Altos, CA, sunrise is at 5:48 and sunset is at 20:33. If California were to stay on permanent standard time, on the longest day of the year in Los Altos, CA, sunrise would be at 4:48 and sunset would be at 19:33. On the other hand, on the shortest day of the year in Los Altos, CA, sunrise is at 7:20 and sunset is at 16:54. If California were to stay on permanent daylight saving time, on the shortest day of the year in Los Altos, CA, sunrise would be at 8:20 and sunset would be at 17:54. I definitely want standard time in winter because I want to be safe getting to work and I also want the kids to be safe getting to school. Standard time in spring, summer, and fall is also good for me but, I would much rather have daylight saving time because we can save more electricity so we don't have to spend too much money on electricity bills. I like to exercise in the morning and I heard that in summer, if I wanted to exercise, I would have to do it early in the morning or late in the evening for cooler time of day. I would much rather exercise early in the morning because I don't have to worry about doing it late morning, afternoon, or evening. I like to relax in the evening. Mornings are cooler than evenings. If we were on permanent standard time, in summer, I would have to exercise 1 hour earlier than if we are on daylight saving time and I don't like waking up too early.

Yes keep standard time all year
Sunrise and Sunset will be 1 hour earlier so there’s more light in the morning
Not changing the clocks to standard time means more light in the evening
Latest sunrise at 7:57am
With DST it is 8:57am
Earliest sunset at 4:17pm
That’s 5:17pm during DST
All you are doing is changing the clocks in winter if you made DST permanent which wakes everyone up early
