OK, technology has given us smoke detectors, radon detectors, carbon monoxide detectors, motion detectors, etc. Why don't boats/yachts etc. have a sensor of some kind that send signals out that a boat is sinking/sunk/underwater? (I spoke too soon, program said they do).. Also, a miniature megaphone or bullhorn should be attached to every life jacket.. Better yet, a waterproof pouch on the life jacket that has waterproof lighters, flares, fresh water (can you tell I'm very analytical with an inventors mind?)

I watch thz docuseries often. Y n the ocean disasters they have the foggiest notion the absolute value of a working beefed up radio.?! 60 mi out u shud be communicating at least every 10,15,20 miles smh I don't gt it?! Lol
