Honestly, i don't yachting is just about going to entertain rich guys for money, but also to make real strong connections esp. with alot of political figures out there because they can really come in handy especially when you're in a shady business like the entertainment industry you need to have connections everywhere

People who don’t come up in an established or moneyed family and suddenly have a lot of money, tend to overestimate how long it will last and go way beyond their means. This is why so many professional athletes find themselves broke after they play and earned millions.

They don’t understand how to spend wisely and what it means to truly “afford” something.

Example: I just earned $2M and I buy a house worth $1.5M - I also want this Lamborghini worth $250K - I want to go out clubbing and get $10K bottle service… my guy, you couldn’t afford any of that because you haven’t even paid taxes yet. Boom, tax bill comes so everything is repossessed to pay the taxes and avoid jail.

I’ll never forget my father reaming me out, I mean he read me for filth, when I bought my first designer bag with money I earned from my job. He was soooo mad because he felt I couldn’t afford it and it was a bag that should be afforded to women of my mother’s status and position.

He was right. I still have the bag nearly 30 years later but I kept it as a lesson - to use my money wisely when needed, never to show the world how much I spend.

I think Child stars are categorically victims. SJ’s situation is difficult/ thankless whatever the timings. To me it seems that she’s been the main breadwinner in her family for a long time, and she’s being held responsible, having to defend herself on public platforms. (I wonder if people that are genetically different would’ve had better reactions, if not received praise for their actions.)
