More fundamentally, I never liked the whole attitude of these guys with their "fresh thinking," who smugly dismiss as old fashioned the views and advice of seasoned mariners who have been around the block and know, often from bitter experience, what works and what doesn't.

Now you are about to discover the realities of dealing with federal and state regulators, Coast Guard reports, environmental impact assessments, insurance investigators and a whole host of other matters implemented by those square idiots who mean business and don't appreciate the fresh, modern thinking of neophytes who already know everything and don't care to learn. That, in large part, is why they took over and weren't about to tolerate an amateur salvage operation.
