I always heard that rich was upper middle class to 8 figures, and wealthy meant generational wealth i.e. 9 figures or more. Over the years it feels like the press redefines things to make the middle class feel more included and less left out.

I really dislike this flex porn on social media. It's so tacky IMO
Honestly, the more money I have the less logo I wear. When I first got a well paying job, I was so excited to be able to afford certain things I could never buy myself before that I went batshit for it. Since then I have sold almost all my logo bags (ähem LV) and mostly wear unrecognizable items. I am rather frugal in my life as a whole, so once I got over that adrenalin rush, I calmed down considerably. Now I am more focused on building wealth for my retirement. We are also very frugal travelers. We prefer to spend on experiences and don't need an expensive hotel for example. We just sleep there anyway so it feels like a waste of money.
