Ha! Just watched this episode as we sit next to you on a mooring in FL!! We are on our first trip down the ICW and I can totally relate to the bridge anxiety! And we are only 62.5' to the top of our antenna! 😉 We are "My Pleasure" the Hunter 44DS next to you!

Probably too late, but try some WD40 on the antenna bolts. Always works for me.

A little tip for low bridges or shallow depths that you barely clear……lift your dinghy on the side of the boat with a spare halyard and fill the dinghy with water. It should be heavy enough to heal you over for a little extra clearance.

Another top video. Nothing like cutting it close for the bridges. While not necessarily the best for the aerial, at least it's giving you an indication that the actual mast and wind instruments aren't going to hit… as Brittni said, a sacrificial anode (gauge). Enjoy the rest of the ICW… by the looks, you have already. Looking forward to more vids of this part of your trip south. Love the dot paintings.

Sailing vessels and bridges. Always great. Especially in my homecountry where people in Friesland are proud of their own language, which makes it more complex. Real story….didn't happen to me: A guy from Amsterdam comes on to a bridge in Friesland on a sailboat. He asked a local wether it would fit. The local Frisian says: "Ken net". In Dutch that means "Close". In Frisian, however, it means "No". Right. The guy from Amsterdam breaks his mast.
