I think my comment didn't make it because I included a link, but you might consider looking into a smartplug for the shore power. Reviews of those are very positive on their ability to protect your boat from power spikes and other power related issues. Great episode and soook sorry to hear about your rat issue, that sounds maddening! Your positivity is encouraging, love watching what you're doing! I had rats in my apartment the only thing that worked for me is the sticky pads they run across them and get stuck. They won't go near rat traps . It my sound cruel but they tore up a bunch of stuff in my apartment. Good luck.
