Hi Guys so you finally got smart and got out of the Med after i warned you not to go there 3 months ago because of instability I guess a war made you smarten up now my next idea is go through the locks and enter the Pacific and off to Thahiti NOT MEXICO N.America is about to blow up so happy sailing !

Super cool if not quite the start you wanted .
Have basically gone off grid , panels charge the batteries even in cloud , was shocked .
Full sun is great , pretty much any light is fine !
My panels start charging just after dawn and sunset . How are yours doing ?

I use major appliances in the day , sometimes at night .
A good well charged battery should see you through the night , runs all electrics and has power for lighting inside .
Life is good when the dolphins wish you good passage !
As for the ropes , would have kept the old ones too .
life with a spinnaker was interesting , lights out, not great !
That life-jacket is no good if you do not have a line between your legs when wearing it on (18:08)!!

I don't know what it is on this westerly sail across the Atlantic to the Caribbean, but there is a lot of sailing vessels crossing that are experiencing damages and breakdowns. and you two are no exception to this happening. I like the way you were fishingf orget the rod use the spear gun lol. Actually, this was the first time I've seen this done shooting from on boat.

note to self: always bring spares
If you have two sheets attached to the sinnaker, port and starboard and run them forward of the head stay, you can jibe without dousing with the sock.
When wing on wing, use a preventer to avoid jibing unexpectedly.
Why not rig a preventer when sailing dead downwind to keep your boom from jibing accidentally? Even with the swept back spreaders, just putting a line forward to keep the boom over on the "right" side would be better than letting it swing around, no?
Awesome, great try on the tuna. If you ever get a chance like that again, try leading the fish and shoot in front of them similar to shooting in front of a clay Pidgeon. I would like to see that work.
